Requires stainless steel sauté pan and measuring spoon.
1 cup raw almonds
2 Tablespoons low sodium Tamari soy sauce (wheat-free)
Toast the almonds in a dry saute pan over medium heat.
Cook until you can start smelling the "deliciousness", and then take off the heat and reduce heat to low.
Carefully add the Tamari sauce one Tablespoon at a time to the pan with the nuts, place back on the burner and stir immediately and constantly until the sauce is absorbed and there is no liquid left.
Allow to cool slightly before enjoying. To store, allow to cool completely and put in an airtight container for up to a week.

Don't be bothered by the pan at the end. Allow it to cool and then simply add warm to hot water and it will clean right up!
